California High School Lacrosse - Santa Margarita overwhelms Alta

April 7, 2025: Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688

The Santa Margarita Eagles lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the visiting Alta Hawks to 5 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.

The Eagles now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host Orange Lutheran for a Trinity challenge on Wednesday, April 9. Santa Margarita will clash with a Lancers squad coming off a 19-5 league loss to JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Alta falls to 7-2 on the year. The Hawks travel to Canyon (Anaheim, CA) to clash with the Comanches in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 8. The Comanches go into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Canyon won 17-1 in their recent league challenge against Esperanza (Anaheim, CA)
