New York High School Lacrosse - Cornwall Central nudges Washingtonville

April 7, 2025: New Windsor, NY 12553

The Cornwall Central Dragons lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the visiting Washingtonville Wizards to 10 in the Dragons league triumph on Monday.

The Dragons now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Valley Central for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 9. Cornwall Central will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 20-11 non-league loss to Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Washingtonville falls to 1-2 on the year. The Wizards travel to Goshen Central (Goshen, NY) to clash with the Gladiators in a Section 9 Division II challenge on Wednesday, April 9. The Gladiators go into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
