Fans at Monday's league contest between the Montville Mustangs (Montville, NJ) and the host Vernon Vikings (Vernon, NJ), witnessed Montville's lacrosse squad top Vernon by a score of 15-2.

The Mustangs (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Roxbury (Succasunna, NJ). The Gaels enter the Rizk contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Roxbury was overwhelmed by Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ), 16-6, in a league contest.

Next, the Vikings meet the Kittatinny Regional Cougars (Newton, NJ) in a Rizk contest, on Friday, April 11. Vernon will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Lenape Valley (Stanhope, NJ).
