The South Summit Wildcats (Kamas, UT) soccer overwhelmed the host Wendover Wildcats (Wendover, UT), 8-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now hold a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Morgan for a 3A Region 13 challenge on Wednesday, April 9. South Summit will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Ogden (Ogden, UT). The Trojans record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Wendover moves to 0-7 on the year. The Wildcats host Merit Preparatory Academy (Springville, UT) to encounter the Knights in a 2A Central bout on Tuesday, April 8. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Merit Preparatory Academy won 5-2 in their recent league bout against American Prep WV (West Valley City, UT)
