Ohio High School Softball - Ayersville bounces Montpelier

The Ayersville Pilots softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Montpelier Locomotives to 2 in the Pilots non-league win on Monday.

The Pilots now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hicksville for a Green Meadows battle on Thursday, April 10. Ayersville will encounter a Aces team coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Archbold (Archbold, OH). The Aces record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Montpelier moves to 2-3 on the season. The Locomotives travel to Pettisville (Pettisville, OH) to encounter the Blackbirds in a Buckeye Border battle on Thursday, April 10. The Blackbirds come into the battle with a record of 3-3. Pettisville won 32-1 in their recent non-league battle against Ottawa Hills (Toledo, OH)
