The Blackford Bruins softball squad (Hartford City, IN), was routed 10-0 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN)

With the triumph, Jay County improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Patriots host Delta (Muncie, IN) to face the Eagles in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 10. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 1-1. Delta won 11-5 in their recent non-league contest against Wes-Del (Gaston, IN)

The Bruins now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to South Adams for a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 9.
