Kentucky High School Softball - Boyle County sneaks past South Laurel

In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Boyle County Rebels softball team scored a tight 5-4 win over the South Laurel Cardinals.
The Rebels (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Estill County (Irvine, KY). The Engineers come into the non-league match with a 8-3 record. In their last match, Estill County nipped Breathitt County (Jackson, KY), 12-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Cardinals confront the Williamsburg Yellow Jackets (Williamsburg, KY) in a District 50 match, on Tuesday, April 8. South Laurel will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the match with a 0-9 record after their 18-1 league loss to Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY).
