The Midland Rebels overwhelmed the host Carencro Bears softball squad by a count of 26-9 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Rebels meet the Lafayette Christian Academy Knights (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 8. Midland will attempt to upgrade on its 7-14 season record. The Knights go into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Welsh (Welsh, LA).
The Bears (2-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Jeanerette (Jeanerette, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Jeanerette was routed by Delcambre (Delcambre, LA), 11-3, in a non-league challenge.
