The Tri-Valley Vikings softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting El Paso-Gridley Titans to 4 in the Vikings league win on Monday.

The Vikings now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monticello for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 8. Tri-Valley will confront a Sages team coming off a 13-6 non-league loss to Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL). The Sages record now stands at 10-1.

With the loss, El Paso-Gridley moves to 0-5 on the season. The Titans travel to Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL) to confront the Chiefs in a Heart of Illinois battle on Wednesday, April 9. The Chiefs come into the battle with a record of 2-4. Deer Creek-Mackinaw lost 7-3 in their recent non-league battle against Farmington (Farmington, IL)
