In Monday's league test, the Salem Generals (Salem, NY) softball squad overwhelmed the host Fort Edward Flying Forts (Fort Edward, NY), by a count of 6-0.

Next, the Generals meet the Greenwich Witches (Greenwich, NY) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 10. Salem will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Witches go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Colonie Central (Albany, NY).

The Flying Forts (3-1) will now prepare for their test against North Warren Central (Chestertown, NY). The Cougars go into the Adirondack test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, North Warren Central was routed by Fort Edward (Fort Edward, NY), 13-0, in a non-league test.
