The Gainesville Bulldogs overwhelmed the host Seymour Tigers softball squad by a count of 17-5 in Monday's league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Alton Comets (Alton, MO) in a Class 2 District 4 challenge, on Thursday, April 10. Gainesville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
The Tigers (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ava (Ava, MO). The Bears go into the Class 2 District 4 challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Ava toppled Cabool (Cabool, MO), 16-1, in a non-league challenge.
