The Mayflower Eagles softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Hackett Hornets to 8 in the Eagles non-league win on Monday.

The Eagles now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Atkins for a 3A Region 5 battle on Tuesday, April 8.

With the loss, Hackett moves to 13-3 on the season. The Hornets travel to Danville (Danville, AR) to confront the Little Johns in a 2A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, April 8. The Little Johns come into the battle with a record of 0-9.
