The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ) and the visiting Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ), observed Higley's softball team prevail over Mesquite by a tally of 13-5.

The Knights (7-16) will now prepare for their bout against Highland (Gilbert, AZ). The Hawks go into the 6A Fiesta bout with a 12-9 record. In their last bout, Highland was routed by Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ), 5-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the St. Mary's Knights (Phoenix, AZ) in a 4A Desert Sky bout, on Tuesday, April 8. Mesquite will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 11-2 non-league loss to Crismon (Queen Creek, AZ).
