The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Howland Tigers (Warren, OH) and the host Salem Quakers (Salem, OH), observed Howland's softball team prevail over Salem by a tally of 10-0.

The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against Girard (Girard, OH). The Indians go into the non-league bout with a 6-2 record. In their last bout, Girard was routed by Lakeview (Cortland, OH), 10-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Quakers clash with the Alliance Aviators (Alliance, OH) in a Eastern Buckeye bout, on Wednesday, April 9. Salem will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Aviators go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 14-8 non-league loss to Indian Valley (Gnadenhutten, OH).
