Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Olympian Eagles (Chula Vista, CA), 4-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Mt. Carmel upgrades its record to 6-8 on the year. The Sundevils travel to Escondido (Escondido, CA) to play the Cougars in a Valley North County game on Wednesday, April 9. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 6-10. Escondido won 10-2 in their recent non-league game against Bonsall (Bonsall, CA)

The Eagles now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mater Dei Catholic for a non-league game on Thursday, April 10. Olympian will play a Crusaders squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Christian (El Cajon, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 13-5.
