The Pineville Rebels triumphed over the host Winnfield Tigers softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Rebels meet the Neville Tigers (Monroe, LA) in a 5A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, April 8. Pineville will attempt to upgrade on its 26-4 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 5-17 record after their 12-1 non-league loss to Haughton (Haughton, LA).

The Tigers (10-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Grant (Dry Prong, LA). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 13-9 record. In their last challenge, Grant overcame Oak Hill (Hineston, LA), 4-0, in a non-league challenge.
