The Springfield Millers baseball squad (Springfield, OR), was overwhelmed 24-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting McDaniel Mountain Lions (Portland, OR)

With the triumph, McDaniel moves its record to 4-7 on the season. The Mountain Lions host Hillsboro (Hillsboro, OR) to confront the Spartans in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 8. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 1-3. Hillsboro lost 10-6 in their recent non-league contest against South Albany (Albany, OR)

The Millers now possess a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eagle Point for a 5A Midwestern contest on Tuesday, April 14.
