Nebraska High School Baseball - Mount Michael Benedictine sneaks past Wayne

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Mount Michael Benedictine Knights (Elkhorn, NE) and the host Wayne Blue Devils (Wayne, NE), saw Mount Michael Benedictine's baseball team get by Wayne by a tally of 4-3.

The Knights (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln Lutheran (Lincoln, NE). The Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Lincoln Lutheran held off Aurora (Aurora, NE), 11-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Blue Devils face the St. Paul/Palmer Wildcats (St. Paul, NE) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 9. Wayne will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 11-5 non-league loss to Central City/Centura (Central City, NE).
