Indiana High School Softball - Brownstown Central sneaks past Columbus East

April 7, 2026: Brownstown, IN 47220

The Brownstown Central Braves softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Columbus East Olympians to 7 in the Braves non-league win on Tuesday.

The Braves now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastern for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 9. Brownstown Central will encounter a Musketeers team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Orleans (Orleans, IN). The Musketeers record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Columbus East moves to 2-2 on the season. The Olympians host Floyd Central (Floyds Knobs, IN) to encounter the Highlanders in a Hoosier Hills battle on Thursday, April 9. The Highlanders come into the battle with a record of 6-3. Floyd Central won 4-3 in their recent non-league battle against North Harrison (Ramsey, IN)
