Kentucky High School Baseball - Carlisle County loses to Union County

The Carlisle County Comets baseball team (Bardwell, KY), was overwhelmed 8-4 in Thursday's non-league outing with the visiting Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY)

The Braves now hold a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to McCracken County for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 8. Union County will face a Mustangs team coming off a 12-1 non-league win over Russell County (Russell Springs, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-0.

Next, the Comets face the Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) in a non-league outing, on Friday, April 9. Carlisle County will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Colonels enter the outing with a 4-2 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Russell County (Russell Springs, KY).
