The Walsh Jesuit Warriors baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals to 4 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.
The Warriors (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH). The Lions come into the Crown challenge with a 0-0 record.
With the defeat, Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy falls to 6-1 on the season. The Royals travel to Tuslaw (Massillon, OH) to encounter the Mustangs in a Principals challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Tuslaw won 10-1 in their recent non-league challenge against United (Hanoverton, OH)
