The Kiski Area Cavaliers baseball team (Vandergrift, PA), was overwhelmed 7-2 in Friday's non-league outing with the host Freeport Yellowjackets (Freeport, PA)
The Yellowjackets now hold a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Catholic for a WPIAL 4A 1 outing on Monday, April 11. Freeport will confront a Trojans team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Mars (Mars, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-3.
Next, the Cavaliers confront the McKeesport Tigers (McKeesport, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 1 outing, on Monday, April 11. Kiski Area will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 3-2 record after their 8-0 league loss to Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA).
