The Hurricane Redskins baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Ironton Fighting Tigers to 5 in the Redskins non-league victory on Friday.

The Redskins (10-3) will now prepare for their match against John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Monarchs go into the Ohio Valley Athletic AAAAA match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, John Marshall was overwhelmed by Spring Valley (Huntington, WV), 4-3, in a non-league match.

The Fighting Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Chesapeake (Chesapeake, OH). The Panthers go into the Ohio Valley match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Chesapeake was overwhelmed by Fairland (Proctorville, OH), 14-1, in a league match.
