The St. Anne's-Belfield Saints baseball team (Charlottesville, VA), was overwhelmed 11-5 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA)
The Bishops now hold a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Covenant for a VISAA Virginia Independent bout on Tuesday, April 12. Virginia Episcopal School will face a Eagles team coming off a 10-0 league loss to North Cross (Roanoke, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
Next, the Saints face the St. Christopher's Saints (Richmond, VA) in a Virginia Prep bout, on Tuesday, April 12. St. Anne's-Belfield will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Saints enter the bout with a 11-3 record after their 12-4 non-league loss to Benedictine (Richmond, VA).
