In Friday's non-league battle, the host Marist RedHawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Niles North Vikings.
The RedHawks (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against Metea Valley (Aurora, IL). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Metea Valley achieved victory over Warren Township (Gurnee, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Vikings clash with the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 9. Niles North will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Blue Devils enter the test with a 4-8 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Metea Valley (Aurora, IL).
