Portsmouth Patriots (Portsmouth, RI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Rocky Hill Country Day Mariners (East Greenwich, RI), 20-5 in a league battle.

The Patriots now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rogers for a Division 2 battle on Wednesday, April 13.

In their next game, the Mariners clash with the Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) in a Division 2 battle, on Monday, April 11. Rocky Hill Country Day will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
