Latin Romans (Chicago, IL) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL), 11-9 in a non-league battle.
The Romans now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Providence Catholic for a non-league battle on Monday, April 11. Latin will clash with a Celtics squad coming off a 16-3 non-league loss to Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL). The Celtics record now stands at 1-4.
With the defeat, Taft drops to 2-4 on the season. The Eagles host IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL) to battle the Knights in a non-league outing on Monday, April 18. The Knights go into the outing with a record of 1-3.
