The New Covenant Gryphons lacrosse squad (Lynchburg, VA), was overwhelmed 14-5 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA)

Coming up next, the Bishops meet the St. Anne's-Belfield Saints (Charlottesville, VA) in a VISAA Division 1 challenge, on Tuesday, April 12. Virginia Episcopal School will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Saints enter the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 18-10 non-league win over Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC).

The Gryphons now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fishburne Military for a Virginia Independent challenge on Tuesday, April 12.
