The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights (Wheeling, WV) and the host Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), saw Wheeling Central Catholic's lacrosse team top Preston by a margin of 15-0.
The Maroon Knights (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Greater Latrobe was overwhelmed by Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA), 9-8, in a league challenge.
The Knights (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Musselman (Inwood, WV). The Applemen enter the WVSLA -DII East challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Musselman beat Strasburg (Strasburg, VA), 17-5, in a non-league challenge.
