In Friday's league battle, the host Fort Gibson Tigers soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Poteau Pirates.
The Tigers (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Pryor (Pryor, OK). The Tigers go into the 4A District 4 battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Pryor nipped Sallisaw (Sallisaw, OK), 9-0, in a league battle.
The Pirates (8-1) will now prepare for their bout against Hilldale (Muskogee, OK). The Hornets enter the 4A District 6 bout with a 6-4 record.
