Redbank Valley Bulldogs (New Bethlehem, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Brockway Rovers (Brockway, PA), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Allegheny-Clarion Valley for a Keystone Shortway - South challenge on Tuesday, April 12.

With the loss, Brockway falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Rovers travel to Curwensville (Curwensville, PA) to face the Golden Tide in a Mountain - Southern challenge on Monday, April 11. The Golden Tide enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Curwensville lost 7-4 in their recent league challenge against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, PA)
