The Derby Panthers (Derby, KS) softball routed the visiting Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders (Wichita, KS), 13-6 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Panthers (8-0) will now prepare for their bout against Haysville Campus (Wichita, KS). The Colts go into the non-league bout with a 2-2 record.
The Crusaders now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to North for a Greater Wichita City bout on Tuesday, April 12. Kapaun Mt. Carmel will confront a squad coming off a 17-0 non-league loss to Bishop Carroll (Wichita, KS). The record now stands at 0-6.
