The Fort Thomas Apaches softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Sequoia Charter Stallions to 4 in the Apaches non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Fort Thomas moves its record to 5-6 on the year. The Apaches host St. David (St. David, AZ) to play the Tigers in a 1A South game on Tuesday, April 12. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 7-6. St. David won 21-11 in their recent league game against Duncan (Duncan, AZ)

In their next game, the Stallions play the Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans (Gilbert, AZ) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 12. Sequoia Charter will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Spartans come into the game with a 2-6 record after their 30-4 non-league loss to Desert Heights Prep (Glendale, AZ).
