The Highland Park Scots softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting West Mesquite Wranglers to 2 in the Scots league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Highland Park moves its record to 4-6 on the year. The Scots host Crandall (Crandall, TX) to clash with the Pirates in a 5A Region II District 13 game on Tuesday, April 12. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 6-9. Crandall lost 15-3 in their recent league test against Royse City (Royse City, TX)

The Wranglers (0-7) will now prepare for their test against North Forney (Forney, TX). The Falcons come into the 5A Region II District 13 test with a 8-11 record. In their last test, North Forney was routed by Forney (Forney, TX), 2-0, in a league test.
