Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Ingleside Mustangs (Ingleside, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 16-7 record. They take the field next when they host Calhoun for a 4A Region IV District 26 challenge on Thursday, April 14.

With the loss, Ingleside falls to 9-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX) to battle the Sandcrabs in a 4A Region IV District 26 challenge on Monday, April 11. The Sandcrabs enter the challenge with a record of 8-13. Calhoun won 12-11 in their recent league challenge against Jones (Beeville, TX)
