Lake Charles Christian (Lake Charles, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.
The now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Covington for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 12.
With the loss, Springfield falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Hammond (Hammond, LA) to face the Tornadoes in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 11. The Tornadoes enter the challenge with a record of 2-12.
