The Paulding Panthers softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Montpelier Locomotives to 13 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Paulding moves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to Continental (Continental, OH) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league game on Monday, April 11. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 0-2. Continental lost 9-2 in their recent non-league game against Leipsic (Leipsic, OH)

In their next game, the Locomotives clash with the Edon Bombers (Edon, OH) in a Buckeye Border game, on Tuesday, April 12. Montpelier will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Bombers come into the game with a 0-3 record after their 19-0 league loss to Hilltop (West Unity, OH).
