The Brighton Bulldogs baseball team (Brighton, CO), was overwhelmed 9-0 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO)
The Mustangs now hold a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Overland for a 5A/4A Centennial outing on Tuesday, April 11. Mullen will face a Trailblazers team coming off a 15-9 non-league loss to Aurora Central (Aurora, CO). The Trailblazers record now stands at 4-7.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Fort Collins Lambkins (Fort Collins, CO) in a 5A Front Range outing, on Tuesday, April 11. Brighton will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Lambkins enter the outing with a 4-4 record after their 8-2 league win over Boulder (Boulder, CO).
