The Collinsville Kahoks baseball team scored 2 runs and limited the visiting Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones to 1 in the Kahoks non-league victory on Saturday.
The Kahoks (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Belleville West (Belleville, IL). The Maroons go into the Southwestern match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Belleville West edged Centralia (Centralia, IL), 11-1, in a non-league match.
The Cyclones (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Glenwood (Chatham, IL). The Titans go into the Central State Eight match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Glenwood was edged by Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL), 9-5, in a non-league match.
