The Streamwood Sabres baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Glenbard North Panthers to 1 in the Sabres non-league victory on Saturday.

The Sabres (8-2) will now prepare for their match against Larkin (Elgin, IL). The Royals come into the Upstate Eight challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Larkin was overwhelmed by Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL), 10-4, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Glenbard North falls to 3-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Geneva (Geneva, IL) to encounter the Vikings in a DuKane challenge on Monday, April 10. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Geneva lost 14-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL)
