West Genesee Wildcats (Camillus, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Ithaca Little Red (Ithaca, NY), 1-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, West Genesee upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Proctor (Utica, NY) to battle the Raiders in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 12. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 1-1. Proctor lost 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Shaker (Latham, NY)

With the defeat, Ithaca falls to 1-2 on the season. The Little red host Union-Endicott (Endicott, NY) to battle the Tigers in a Section 4 Southern Tier - Metro test on Monday, April 10. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-2. Union-Endicott lost 9-4 in their recent league test against Johnson City (Johnson City, NY)
