Wheeler County Bulldogs (Alamo, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Mainland Buccaneers (Daytona Beach, FL), 15-12 in a non-league test.

With the win, Wheeler County upgrades its record to 16-7 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Wilcox County (Rochelle, GA) to battle the Patriots in a 1A D-II Area 4 test on Tuesday, April 11. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 15-4. Wilcox County lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Irwin County (Ocilla, GA)

The Buccaneers now possess a 0-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atlantic for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 12. Mainland will play a Sharks squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Matanzas (Palm Coast, FL). The Sharks record now stands at 2-15.
