The Plainfield Central Wildcats the visiting Metea Valley Mustangs baseball team by a tally of 3-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now hold a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Yorkville for a non-league bout on Monday, April 10. Plainfield Central will face a Foxes team coming off a 10-8 non-league win over Morris (Morris, IL). The Foxes record now stands at 5-4.
Next, the Mustangs face the DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL) in a DuPage Valley bout, on Monday, April 10. Metea Valley will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Barbs enter the bout with a 7-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Kaneland (Maple Park, IL).
