Colorado High School Baseball - Montezuma-Cortez wallops Roaring Fork

Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Montezuma-Cortez Panthers (Cortez, CO) and the host Roaring Fork Rams (Carbondale, CO), saw Montezuma-Cortez's baseball squad beat Roaring Fork by a margin of 12-1.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Pagosa Springs Pirates (Pagosa Springs, CO) in a 3A/2A Intermountain battle, on Saturday, April 15. Montezuma-Cortez will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Pirates enter the battle with a 5-8 record after their 10-4 league loss to Alamosa (Alamosa, CO).

The Rams now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Olathe for a 3A Western Slope battle on Tuesday, April 11. Roaring Fork will play a Pirates squad coming off a 14-3 non-league loss to Meeker (Meeker, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 2-8.
