The Rocky Mountain Lobos baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Montrose Red Hawks to 0 in the Lobos non-league victory on Saturday.
The Lobos (8-0) will now prepare for their match against Monarch (Louisville, CO). The Coyotes go into the 5A Front Range match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Monarch edged Poudre (Fort Collins, CO), 10-0, in a league match.
The Red Hawks (5-6) will now prepare for their match against Grand Junction (Grand Junction, CO). The Tigers go into the 4A/5A Southwestern match with a 8-4 record. In their last match, Grand Junction edged Fairview (Boulder, CO), 10-3, in a non-league match.
