The Mt. Vernon Rams baseball squad (Mt. Vernon, IL), 5-2 in Saturday's non-league test with the host Parkway West Longhorns (Ballwin, MO)
With the win, Parkway West upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Longhorns host Northwest (Hughesville, MO) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Monday, April 10. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 11-7.
With the defeat, Mt. Vernon falls to 7-7 on the season. The Rams travel to Carbondale (Carbondale, IL) to battle the Terriers in a South Seven test on Tuesday, April 11. The Terriers come into the test with a record of 3-8. Carbondale lost 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Carterville (Carterville, IL)
