Arizona High School Baseball - Walden Grove loses to Salpointe Catholic

The Walden Grove Red Wolves baseball team (Sahuarita, AZ), was overwhelmed 8-1 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Salpointe Catholic Lancers (Tucson, AZ)

The Lancers now hold a 17-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Flowing Wells for a 4A Kino outing on Tuesday, April 11. Salpointe Catholic will face a Caballeros team coming off a 17-1 league loss to Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ). The Caballeros record now stands at 12-6.

Next, the Red Wolves face the Rio Rico Hawks (Rio Rico, AZ) in a 4A Gila outing, on Tuesday, April 11. Walden Grove will attempt to advance on its 10-9 season record. The Hawks enter the outing with a 12-7 record after their 8-7 non-league win over American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North (Gilbert, AZ).
