Stonington Bears (Stonington, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT), 12-10 in a non-league test.
The Bears now have a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Bacon Academy for a Eastern Connecticut - Small test on Tuesday, April 18.
In their next game, the Falcons face the Berlin Redcoats (Berlin, CT) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 11. Fitch will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Redcoats come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 12-3 non-league loss to Hall (West Hartford, CT).
