In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Wando Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the River Ridge Knights.
With the victory, Wando moves its record to 10-4 on the year. The Warriors travel to Goose Creek (Goose Creek, SC) to battle the Gators in a AAAAA Region 6 bout on Wednesday, April 19. The Gators enter the bout with a record of 2-9.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Newnan Cougars (Newnan, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 14. River Ridge will attempt to move on its 12-4 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 6-6 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Northgate (Newnan, GA).
