In Saturday's non-league contest, the Silver Creek Dragons (Sellersburg, IN) softball team held off the visiting Anderson County Bearcats (Lawrenceburg, KY), by a margin of 6-5.

With the triumph, Silver Creek moves its record to 12-3 on the year. The Dragons travel to Charlestown (Charlestown, IN) to play the Pirates in a Mid-Southern contest on Monday, April 10. The Pirates come into the contest with a record of 5-0. Charlestown won 6-2 in their recent league contest against Corydon Central (Corydon, IN)

In their next game, the Bearcats play the Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 8. Anderson County will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Colonels come into the contest with a 8-1 record after their 13-2 non-league win over Butler County (Morgantown, KY).
